How to Generate Creative Ideas for Logo and Brand Identity Design
A step by step look at the ideation stage when developing creative ideas.
I’m So Glad You're Here! - Thanks for sticking with me!
Sorry it’s been awhile since my last newsletter, I have been working on a number of things including personal projects, client projects, and brand deals etc.
It’s been such a busy time, i am also contemplating taking some time off from client work to focus on personal projects and other areas for The Logo Creative.
Nothing is set in stone yet but it’s something I am highly considering, not sure for how long, but i will keep you posted when i have decided.
I love designing logos and brand identities, but I’m also very passionate about creating content and helping people.
One of the questions I get asked quite frequently is about generating unique logo ideas and the process behind it.
I think this article would benefit new logo designers and those individuals who struggle with ideation when designing logos and brand identity designs.
One of the main areas is having a unique logo designed for your brand. The more unique the logo is, the better your brand identity will be as a whole.
Having a brand is quite common nowadays but, only a few have a unique identity. The more competition there is, the more difficult it gets to generate creative ideas.
There is a big difference between copying an idea and getting inspiration to create a unique idea. Coping does not make your logo unique.
The best thing to do is to fully understand who and what you are designing for, then get inspiration from various places.
Before you begin generating ideas, then you will have a better understanding of what you are doing and a better chance of creating unique concept ideas.
It’s not easy to be creative, even for the most seasoned creative professional, you need to get in the right mindset.
To be creative, you should do a good amount of research. I recommend you to go through that particular subject.
It should depend on the target audience. You can also make a collection of your research, which helps you form creative concept ideas in your mind.
Once you can generate a creative idea, you will be able to build a solution that is appropriate for the project.
This article will help you generate creative ideas for a logo and brand identity. I am mentioning key areas to focus on in this article.
