I hope everyone is well and getting ready for Halloween I know we will be busy this year the kids have already been to two Halloween parties already and there is more to come.
Life has been pretty crazy and a few weeks ago I lost my uncle unexpectedly.
I took him to the hospital to have a hernia operation, picked him up later that same day got him settled back at home and wished him a speedy recovery.
What came next, I wasn’t expecting to happen. The following morning my Mum phoned to say he had been rushed to hospital.
We got to the hospital straight away and was take into a family room, my heart started beating so fast I knew what was happening having been their when we lost Dad, but tried to tell myself he was alive and there had been some complications.
We waited awhile and then told he had passed away unexpectedly. We were all shocked even the doctors had no idea what had happened.
The next two weeks after that were hard as we waited to hear from the coroner to find out what had happened.
We found out that the operation was a success, but came into contact with sepsis and this caused his passing.
He was a good uncle very kind and generous. I have thanked him many times and I would like to thank him again for been there when we lost Dad and helping to support us through it.
I know he will be up there with my Dad and Granddad, the three wise men watching over us.
Thankyou uncle Colin all our love and you will be missed deeply!
