I hope everyone is well and ready for Christmas. It’s been a strange year but business has been great which i am very grateful for.
I make a promise every year that i’m going to work hard and follow through with everything i plan to do and this year I have done really well and plan to raise my game even further next year.
My new year’s resolution is to keep doing what i’m doing and raising the bar with everything I do in life.
The thing that motivates me more than anything else is freedom, and this project continues to allow me to fulfill that. I’m grateful to the moon and back

Designer Interview With Alex Aperios
Alex Aperios is a brand and website designer at Aperios Design Ltd, a design studio based in London, England.
I first became aware of Alex’s work through us both following each other on both Twitter and Instagram. What i like about Alex’s work is that he shows a diverse range of styles and appreciates minimalistic design.
Alex helps brands and small businesses get results from crafting unique and innovative designs backed by over a decade of industry experience. He has worked with fashion, film production and tech start-ups to establish themselves as industry leaders through his ability to make sure his clients’ needs are met.
Alex has worked in the industry for over ten years working for large agencies and well-known brands honing his craft which has allowed him to build a following on most social channels.
Storyategy by Matt Davis
I decided to start reading Storyategy by Matt Davis and it’s a great book so far i’m really enjoying it.
The book goes through a simple 6 step process to build a powerful brand using the power of storytelling.
If you don’t know who Matt is, Matt Davies is a creative brand & marketing strategist with over 16 years of professional experience. He is a passionate advocate of using storytelling and ‘archetypal’ branding as the basis for marketing and business strategy.
Matt also hosts the JUSTBranding podcast with Jacob Cass, which is the only podcast I have listened to from time to time, as I am not a big podcast fan.
Don’t hate me, i prefer to read or watch a video that’s the way i learn more effectively, and i find the content is better prepared.
Matt was kind enough to send me a copy of his book and I would like to take this time to thank him once again. Thanks Matt it’s a great book - Well Done!

My Tweet of The Week
In this section I share a tweet I have shared from my personal Twitter account.
This is an old tweet but the first one I shared in 2018, and it was the first year without my Dad. I thought i would share it to remember and honor him. I was only in my early twenties but one of my favorite pictures with him.
I turned it into a thread as i post occasional things related to the kids. Christmas was a special time, my Dad loved it and he and my Mum always made it special for me.
I think about him every second of every day, but at Christmas it’s always difficult. I owe a lot to my Dad as he pushed me to follow my passion of starting The Logo Creative and eventually running it full-time which i currently am and have been for some time.
I’m so happy doing this!
The project is dedicated in his memory. He lives on in me and my kids.

Besides spending time with my family and having fun with my two children, working on client projects and creating content for you lovely people.
When I get time to relax here’s what i’m reading, listening to and watching and playing when i have the time!
Reading: Besides Storyategy, I’m working my way through The Lettering Workshop by FrancisChouquet. - Amazon UK | Wordery - This book is really helping me with my handlettering.
Listening: Spotify Playlist - Christmas Hits - I have not been listening to much music lately due to the internet scenario i mentioned in the last newsletter, and have been enjoying working in silence, seriously it’s been good for me!
Recommended Viewings: Netflix - Classic family films with the kids | Richie Rich | Dennis the Menace | Rise of the Guardians | The BFG | Hook | Charlie and The Chocolate Factory | I try to watch a film with the kids most nights, it’s fun especially when it’s a film I watch as a kid!
Also rewatching LOST Box Set - I’m on the last disc of season 6, Should be finished before Christmas.
Playing: Don’t play a lot, but I think I’ll be playing this well into 2021 on my second playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4 - UK | US -
